Riverwalk is located in the heart of Edwards. The charm of Victorian architecture creates a vibrant mood for shoppers, shopkeepers, office workers, and condo owners. Riverwalk has a grocery store, movie theater, great dining and so much more. The buildings have commercial space on the ground level with residential units above.
Edwards, minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek, has been attracting people who enjoy a little more room, a little warmer climate and a town with spirit and pride. Hiking, climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking are just outside the door. The result is a park-like atmosphere with natural gathering places for area residents and visitors.
Eagle County has designated certain condominiums in the Riverwalk development especially for Eagle County workers. There are 59 deed restricted units among the Amber, Crystal, Market, and Topaz buildings. The deed restriction allows the condominiums to be considered local workforce housing. The deed restriction states that within the first 30 days of being on the market, the condominium can only be offered to people who work for or employ people at businesses located in Riverwalk. During the next 90 days it can be offered to both employees of Riverwalk and anyone who works in Eagle County. The following 120 days it can be offered to anyone. If at any point during the listing the seller changes the price or any other component of the listing, the seller must restart the above mentioned listing process.
If you are interested in buying a condo in Riverwalk, you can contact a local real estate agent or check the newspaper. Keep in mind that these condos can also be sold by the owners themselves.
